David was the violnist for the 1972 to 74 edition of the seminal art rock / proto heavy metal group King Crimson. It was during his tenure of this group that they began experimenting with full ensemble improvisation. Since leaving that group, David has performed and composed for numerous chamber ensembles, theater troupes, dance companies and film scores.
