North Yorkshire's The Plug is a newcomer to the local Northern England live scene. Originally conceived as a folk/rock guitar and fiddle duo; with the addition of bass and drums, the band's sound quickly evolved to a full band sound. Violinist John Aitken plays with a definite ear for texture and tone - incorporating experimental and unusual noises to underscore the band's sound.
