Sami has studied with world renown composer and performer Simon Shaheen and has studied violin performance in both Cairo, Egypt and Aleppo, Syria. He currently lives in New York City with his wife where he performs regularly both as a solo artist and in various combinations - including the performance group Zikrayat.
