Sibiel is the name of a small Rumanian village to which the musicians of this trio pay homage as it was the starting point of their musical adventure. In an unusual string trio format: cello, bass, and guitar, Sibiel draws their influences from improvised music, jazz, and the traditional classical western music. Their sound is both intimate and jarring - with compositions coming from each member. The group is now in its fourth year.
