Ben has been studying electric violin for a number of years now, making his own music using raw electrically amplified string sound or creating "collage" music from digital bits and pieces. He calls this genre Noise Sound Music. Since 1995, he has been researching the history and development of the electric violin and in 2000, started publishing on his own web site. During this time he has recorded and performed in a broad range of styles.
