Dejesus was initially a solo project of songs written by cellist/ singer songwriter Daniel de Jesus. In collaboration with Producer/Guitarist Ted Richardson, featuring Brett Keller on Bass and Kevin McDevitt on Drums and percussion, the solo release of Dejesus came out in November of 2006. The experience of working so well together the solo project emerged into a band. The Band 'Dejesus' has been together for a year and have been performing and working on second album due to be released in the next year. Daniel de Jesus has recently become a member of Rasputina, the famous cello goth rock group headed by cellist/ singer songwriter Melora Creager.
