Honjo, McNeill, and Solomon have each tackled major solo works by (respectively) Luciano Berio and Christian Lauba, Ralph Shapey and Karlheinz Stockhausen, and Alban Berg and Mario Davidovsky, and have performed together in various chamber and jazz settings. Their trio project blends their experiences performing 20th-century music with their instincts and intuition to create dynamic improvised music.
